Pluging printer into usb causes reset
I notice that one usb port in particular reboots the machine each time I plug an Epson CX3900 printer /scanner/copier into it .
Fine if its plugged in at boot up and not touched. I think I have also had the resetting problem when I unplug it too
Any ideas on this one?

I experimented some more and found that it does this even when unplugging the usb lead while the computer is booting at any stage so its not a Mepis problem but a system problem .
Additionally a scanner I have does not affect anything when plugged and unplugged
Anyone know what might be causing this . It appears to be only on the epson printer

Usb problem
Buy a usb hub and leave the printer hooked up. That's what I do.
