using scanjet 3500c


dear linux lovers
i find problems in using usb port
scanners and printers. whenever i try
xsane for scanning, the devices is not
detected. could anyone help me out!!!!!

The scanner you're mentioning in the post title probably doesn't have Linux drivers. Look at the HCL entry: http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/sh...ct=410&cat=229 It's quite old, however. I've seen a message about the scanner reverse-engineered, but no program or working link.
