HI Guys, i'll get a Sun StorEdge D240 media tray and i'd like to know if this piace of hardware can be used with Linux (x86)?, i own a adaptec 2940 U2W (68 pins)
How can i know if my linux box "sees" the storedge?
Distribution: Cinnamon Mint 20.1 (Laptop) and 20.2 (Desktop)

Do you have disk or tape media in it? I don't think you'd see anything if it was just bare metal. Configuration info shows there should be a couple of 18Gb disks, (540-4177) plus tape/DVD. I don't know this particular tray but I'd assume you'd just see whatever SCSI media was in it. It has two SCSI channels.
