Have anybody worked on Sun StorEdge 3300
Problem: The logical drive (RAID 5) was showing incomplete status with 1 failed drive.
Solution I tried:
I have upgraded the controlller firmware version and safte version. Then sccli stopped working. So I also upgraded sccil 2.0 to sccli 2.4, then sccli was showing no manageable devices found....
So I tried #sccli (ip address) command. It worked. But by mistake I changed the communication paramaeters for the array.
Now I am not able to do #sccli (ip address)...it justs halts...
Telnet also not working. Just says connecting....

Could you please help me out....As I don't have that level of experience. I googled it too, but i didn't get solution...

You can connect from serial port and reconfigure the device. Also check from sunsolve that your HW supports the firmware you installed.

I did checked the configuration by serial connection. i change the ip address.
Now I can use #sccli <ip address>
But #sccli still saying no manageable devices found.

I am just confused...what to do....
The logical drive is showing incomplete status. Its RAID 5 with 8 disks.
I don't understand why its saying incomplete...
Will the recreation of logical drive solve the problem??
But I will lose the data.....
