SpeedTouch 5x6 modem (internet) compatible with linux

I checked the SpeedTouch 5x6 website but it said nothing about it being linux compatible. Does someone know if it is?

Is this a USB broadband modem? If so, you're probably better off getting a router with modem built in. They're only slightly more expensive, but much more flexible and easy to setup on Linux. They just need to allow you to set them up via a web page, which they all do, I think.

USB modems can be a real pain. Don't bother.
