Hi,
I am trying to install Fedora code 3 using a SATA Harddisk, the OS did not recognize the Harddisk and the installation did not proceed further.
I am using AMD 64 Processor with MSI motherboard.

Please Help.

You need to tell us what the sata controller is.

type:
# lspci

in the command line and look for the line which mentions sata controller. tell us what it is.

did the same with ASUS A8N SLI motherboard and AMD Athlon. Redhat found the SATA drive without patching or manual input. By the way there was no IDE harddisk (only DVD-burner). Maybe u need a driver for the motherboard?

Greetings,

Ronald
