Greetings,
I'm considering a Samsung Syncmaster screen (like 970P or 961BF) for my computer (which runs Linux only), and am somewhat concerned about Samsung's webpage which states that instead of having buttons for setup on the screen, they utilize a Windows program instead to configure/setup the screen.
Does anyone know if this is a "nice-to-have" or a "must-have" for these screens to work?
I also found DDCcontrol (
http://ddccontrol.sourceforge.net/) in case that helps, but remain doubtful about this monitor on a Linux system.
I'd greatly appreciate if anyone with experience on successfully using any such monitors on a Linux system.
Thanks much in advance!
