Question Setting up LCD (Samsung SyncMaster 181T)

Ok my first time to try linux. Decided to install RedHat 7.3

The installation went great until the Monitor Selection and Custom X Configuration.

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 181T connected digitally (DVI) to an A-Open Geforce3 ti200. The installation recognized the geforce3 as generic and obviously I am able to see the installation screen, but when it comes to setting up the horizontal and vertical sync, color depth, and screen resolution I am not able to get a stable screen in the test view.

The manual that came with the LCD says it has a horizontal range of 30-81kHz and a vertical of 56-85Hz. I tried that and and still things where not viewable. The monitor should be able to handle up to 1280x1024 but I am willing to settle for less while I get used to the OS.

Anybody out there with the same monitor, or somebody who can give me a suggestion on how to fix it?
