radeon 9000 problem

Hi
my problem is the following
I have a Fedora Core 1 with Kernel version 2.6.10-rc2
I've got a radeon 9000 video card, downloaded the driver for it from ati.com
filename: fglrx_4_3_0-8.12.10-1.i386.rpm
installed it, configured using driver's built-in agpgart (actually tried both)
module.... the X won't start
it gives an error something like: no screens
and no device found on BusID "PCI:0:10:0"
but my video is on AGP, not PCI
I have no idea what to do

my config file:

Code:
[drm] failed to load kernel module "agpgart"
[drm] failed to load kernel module "radeon"
(II) RADEON(0): [drm] drmOpen failed
...you're obviously not using the config file you posted above since the system is trying [...and fails] to load the "radeon" module.

#mv /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 /etc/X11/xorg.conf
...if your X server is Xorg

so what should I do?

the file it creates is /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
and it 's the one it uses too, because when I overwrite it with the old one
everything works just fine, though it still doesn't use the driver I wanna use

The X I'm using is XFree86

I think my problem is that the driver doesn't realize that my card is agp and pci
any suggestions?
