Problem with fglrx: 2.6.1 and ati radeon 9000

fglrx loads smoothly, as do agpgart. I copied the XF86Config-4 generated by fglrxconfig to XF86Config, but i get this error while running startx:
(==) Using config file: "/root/XF86Config"

(WW) VESA(0): Failed to set up write-combining range (0xd0000000,0x4000000)

I get no error in dmesg

It seems this error cancels the use of XF86Config, since my keyboard settings etc are ignored

It may also be that startkde loads another config file

Any thoughts?
