ati radeon 9000 mobility problem with suse 9.3 pro

This problem has been annoying me since I upgraded from suse 9.1 pro to 9.3 pro. My ati radeon 9000 mobility used to work perfectly on 9.1 (after I installed the ati drivers) but when I upgraded to 9.3 I've lost my 3D acceleration. Basically I installed the ati drivers and configured it using fglrxconfig as I did previously, however, when I try to run any 3D application I get a message saying that my graphics card has not been configured for 3D. The weird thing is I think that the 3D is in fact working, as the opengl screensavers work fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

In addition to this, I just realised that when I use 'fglrxinfo' I get this:

display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project:
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
OpenGL version string: 1.2 (1.5 Mesa 6.2.1)

Apparently, they should be ATI and not Mesa, is that correct? How can I fix this? And what are the possible causes?

Try the above link as it references how to get the ATI drivers working in 9.3... I'm going to be trying to get them working in the next hour or two since I'll be switching to 9.3 from FC4. I'll let you know if I have any probs with the fglrx drivers and how I fixed them.
