SuSE 8.2 Installed fine for me, using 1 Serial 120 GB and one Parallel 40 GB Drive on an Asus A7V8X. The Serial drive is the boot and Windows drive, the Parallel drive is for Linux only. Boots to GRUB, which I have setup to go to Windows 2003, or SuSE 8.2. Everything worked great (except the SB Audigy), until I upgraded the Video Card (Radeon 7500 to Radeon 9600), and now I have no video. It still boots up and runs, I just cannot see anything in Linux. Actually I can see something, it is all crammed on the upper 1/8 of the screen
I tried fooling the 9.0 Installer by doing some creative copy/rename operations on the driver floppy. I deleted the 8.1 directory, copied the 8.2 directory and renamed it to suse9.0. The driver loaded during a manual install, it even showed some drives prior to loading, but when YAST came up, it saw no drives.
