I have tried all I could think of and could not find an answer to this in the forums. Linux is just not seeing it. Thanks!

What make/model of drive is it? What is the partition type (NTFS, HFS+, ext3, etc)?

What have you done to make you think linux isn't seeing it? Or is it being seen but not automounting? Has it been plugged in to any other computer yet?

As root, run the command dmesg and post the output here. Plus tell us more about which Linux distro you are using and the other question pljvaldez asked.
