newbie has mouse question...please help.

I just did a search of these forums for this, but I am kinda new to this linux stuff so I need to ask the question again. What I found was a bit over my head.

I have a Logitech wireless mouse. I have been able to get the wheel to work. But the thumb button still does nothing. Same with the wheel button. How do go about binding alt + left_arrow to the thumb button on the side and alt + f4 to the wheel button??

thanks.

read this (http://www.mandrakeuser.org/docs/xwin/xkeys2.html) it's for keyboards, but mousebuttons have keycodes too, so you could give it a try
