Ok, this is almost embarassing to ask, but here goes:
I am in the process of learning apache. I was reading through some documentation and it told me to put my test .html file into the root map of my web server.
Now, I thought I had found the correct place, but I havent and now im frustrated. All I wanted to do was make a test.html page, go to
http://localhost/test.html to make sure it was correct. Well, that is easier said than done.
I figured I would ask two questions here:
1) Where would I place this test.html file for localhost in apache version 1.3
2) Where would I place the same test file for localhost in apache version 2.0?
Tarballed, who is going to buy a book on apache ::grunt::
