new printer problem..


when i print something from galeon browser,
lpq shows like this

[eugene@beautifulmind eugene]$ lpq
lp is ready and printing
Rank Owner Job File(s) Total Size
active eugene 246 sppPAGUQL 38912 bytes
[eugene@beautifulmind eugene]$

but nothing happens..
..?

command : lpr filename works fine in console..
but weirdly it doesn't show up in lpq

any idea?
i can't print from any browser i got.. been trying more than 4hours but no gain..

printer is samsung ML-1430, i use CUPS, mandrake8.2

this is very frustrating..

commandline lpr works just fine..
why can't i print through browsers?
