Printer problem

I'm trying to install my compaq-ij650, which i found out uses the lexmarkz33 driver. I downloaded the driver and ran it. It said i needed some dependencies and I downloaded and installed (i think) them. Now I'm getting a different error. It says.

/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/local/lib/libxine.so.1 is not a symbolic link

while executing
"close $io"

anyone know how to fix this. I looked at the file and it does exist. the file type is Shared Library (the image is the gear thingy w/out the twisty green arrow.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
