Linux Monitor Dual head top down display config file settings

Hi guys,

I want to be able to change the settings for my top down dual head display. Basically one monitor sits on top of another right now. How it was setup before was that they used to sit right next to each other so when you mouse over to the right it would go to the new screen. The problem is now when one sits on top of the other I want to be able to just mouse up instead of mousing over to the right. I don't want to use the gui to be able to do this. I want to find out what config file and specifically what setting in the config file would allow me to change this. Thanks for your help

Maybe this would work?

I now know it has to be a setting in my /etc/X11/xorg.conf file but I have no idea which one to try

There should be a virtual xxxx yyyy line under the Screen section.

Set the xxxx to the width of the widest monitor.
Set the yyyy to the height of the two monitors added together.

Then in your Monitor sections set the position on the virtual screen where you want the displays to appear.

The top monitor should be:
Option "Position" "0 0"

The bottom monitor should be:
Option "Position" "0 yyyy"
where yyyy is the height in pixels of the top screen.
