I have this printer hooked up to my ethernet network via an Asante Talk box. I have herd of something called netatalk that lets by computer (fedora core 5) talk to appletalk printers. What I'm lookinbg for is for someone to tell be step by step how to install this printer on my computer.
Oh and i should probubly clarify that currently I am using teh printer via a share on another computer. So I want to make my linux computer talk directly to the printer so that i don't always have to turn my other computer on to print off something
P.S. I would also prefer to set it up through the printer control panel if that is possible..... I don't have a problem with the terminal, but I like the way the printer set up control panel works

I can not be of much help other then providing a howto. It appears to be straight foward but does require recompiling the kernel to include netatalk. I assume that netatalk is on the install CDs.
