Laserwriter 300

Dear Forum:

I have an Apple Performa 6360 which is running Yellowdog Linux 3.01. I also have an old Apple Laserwriter 300 (which, I believe, is based on the HP LaserJet 4 engine) which I would like to use with this computer, but I am wondering if this printer will even work in Linux. I did some preliminary research into this matter by visiting, but discovered nothing specific to this printer. I did see that other Apple printers, such as the Laserwriter 4/600, will work. Even the old inkjet-based Apple printers such as the Stylewriter 1200 and Imagewriter can work to some degree in Linux.

Can any one here offer any thoughts or suggestions?
