I have a Pentium I 233 MMX machine with 1 meg (1024k) L2 cache, that runs as a fax server using hlyafax and Redhat 9.

Is there a way to let Linux know the board has that much L2 cache?

Under windows 20000 there is a registry tweak/hack for it, and it does make a noticeable performance gain in W2K.

Here is the current CAT /PROC/CPUINFO, there is no cache entry listed like for an i686 class processor. Yes the proc is overclocked to 250 (*83@3)
