Distro to run opendb on Pentium 233

Hi! I'm about to come into possession of an old dell laptop, 233MHz proc, 64MB RAM. I'd like to use it to track DVD lending in my small community.

The opendb project in sourceforge seems like a nice solution (sorry, can't post link because of 5 post limit, please search from sourceforge or google[opendb sourceforge]). What is the best distro to use to run this?

Preferably have:

* Apache, PHP, MySQL set up already, with some sort of browser to see pages
* XFCE or similar is okay.
* Will APM or ACPI work okay on this laptop? I would be nice to just close the lid to suspend/turn off monitor.

Thank you for your time.

Any distro will work, If you are using Ubuntu, than you'll likely want to stick to a debain based distro since your more used to Debian tools.

If you are willing to venture away from debian, I'd say slackware for a quick setup or gentoo. Now Gentoo is going to take an incredible amount of time to load however I did install in on a 233MHz machine so it is possible. Probably the next couple people will tell you to stay away from gentoo, so that might be wise. Slack is great on older machine, so look into slackware.com

Thank you for your reply!

I've thought about just trying ubuntu, but thought this would be a good time to try out some other distros. I'll look into slack, thanks again.
