I have a Windows 98SE and I just tried installing LindowsOS onto it because it had a virus. I set it so it would erase the entire hard drive and install LindowsOS.
I got to the end of the installation and it said to eject the disk and reboot.
After I did that while it was rebooting up it just has a black screen with a underscore flashing at the top leff-hand corner.I left it like that for awile because the manual said to wait until a screen came up to ask you what to boot to. Nothing has come up for the last 10 minutes.
I read about booting it with Lilo or Grub, but I do not know anything about those. Are they files you can put on a cd or something?
I am a begginer with Linux (LindowsOS).
