Help-MK 9.1 cannot detect usb adsl modem

I have install MK9.1 many times but it still refused to recognise my Prolink Hurricane 8000 usb adsl modem. Is there any driver that i can download or any command to make it recognise the modem?

Have been running xp since the linux os cannot used the modem.

Pls help.

follow my advice and, if your modem don't have ethernet support, return the modem. but i think that if u look on the modem u will find the ethernet port. if u want to share the adsl line (internet) with other computers on your lan, usb modem is a no no.
your modem should be connected to a router.
OH! and please make sure that u buy a wireless router
so the rest ov'us can get our share to... he he!
as for drivers u should Google for it , if the linux HCL don't yet show support.
