hdparm -tT and NTFS? Any damage?

Hi All,

Quick question... if I boot up with a standalone CD (Knoppix or SuSE Live or something) and then use hdparm -Tt to check the performance of my windows NTFS drive, will it damage the underlying FS in any way?

It only performs read operations so you should be perfectly safe.

Thanks. That's what I expected but I don't like messing with my NTFS drives.
