next week im going to buy one of these digital tv cards for viewing tv in the UK. now i wanted to know whether it would work basically. and if the tv remote would work, that would be a bonus
so anyone have one of these working under linux? especially suse?
what chipset does it use? *ANYTHING* running a bt878 chipset is fine, but many newer haupage products use a newer chipset, only alpha support.... http://www.bytesex.org for details.

I have a Hauppage TV card, but it's the older kind and not the HDTV one you are talking about. The old card works fine but I have no tried the remote control as I am too lazy to plug it in the back of my computer. Sad but true.
