Hauppauge WinTV NOVA-T in linux with SAA7146ah chipset

hi,

I have had this Nova-t digital TV card now for a while and have yet to get it working in a linux box. I know it works in a windows box because i tested it to be sure first.

I have tried pretty much every suggestion i can find on the web to try to get this card working without success. I can get most of the cards interface up but i cannot seem to get frontend0 up to then allow dvbtune to start to tune the card. Is that anyone out there that has managed to set this card up and used it in linux?

If there is anyone out there that has managed to do this please would it possible you could give a list of what kernel modules you are using, what options and versions you are using of the dvb tools + firmware you are using And if you have time a small howto what order it needs to be dome in?

Regards,
