i just installed Suse 9.1 on my old computer, and im planing to transfer it to my new one putting it on a UltraATA device i bough [PCI] and im just wondering if im going to have to download anything to install, i got an HP a730n if someone can help me with this issue, would it even work if i put it on a Ultra ATA [ i dont have anything else to do ]
well i just got to work on this right now, and i tried booting from my pci card[Ultra ATA] and it just doesnt work, it goes back to my windows hard drive[regular connection] and im wondering why it does that, maybe is it because i put LILO on the mbr for the other hardrive?
oh yea and another thing, before when id put the booting device, it would show the name of the harddrive, now its just pci device card or something like that
