failing to burn


when trying to burn a DVD data disk i get this error

growisofs comand:

/usr/bin/growisofs -Z /dev/ide/host0/bus1/target0/lun0/cd=/home/jabberwock486/test.iso -use-the-force-luke=notray -use-the-force-luke=tty -speed=2.4



CD's work find for me. i am sure it is something i have overlooked. any ideas

the drive itself

I/O magic/digital research driver
dual formaat 8x drive
