extra buttons on posh keyboards

'evening all!

not sure weather this belongs in hardware or software but here goes...

Does anybody know how to make use of all the additional keys you get on these so called "multimedia" or "internet navigator" keyboards? It'd be uberleet to be able to assign particular functions to them... my keyboard has cd player, volume, power/standby/wake and some internet keys.

Cheers!

No kidding, if you go over to the manufacturer's website, you might be able to get ahold of an X keymap! Its excruciatingly easy for manufacturers to make these as opposed to something that actually needs updating like driver sets... my horrid $8 Belkin keyboard had a map there!

Cheers,
