eth0 device does not seem to be present & Shut down problems


Dear Friends,

I am having the problem with My Network card.

It giving the message like this:

"eth0 device does not seam to be present, delaying inetialization."

But it is working in win98 & win2000 proff. I am using RH9.

And at the same time shut down problem. at last it is giving the message like this: "Powerdown". and it stopes.

Hello!
What is your ethernet card model? Post here output of ' /sbin/lspci ' programm.
About shutting down: check your APIC settings.
