eth0 device does not seem to be present & Shut down problems


Friends,

I am using RH 9. My network cord is not initializing, But it is perfectly working with win98. What I have to Do?

What type of card do you have?
Post the results of these commands:

lspci | grep eth
lsmod
ifconfig

What is the relation between not finding the eth0 and the shutting down ?

if it wirelss you can also try :
iwconf

and post the result back
