Hello All

I have had an issue with getting the C82 to print using Linspire 5.0.347. Come to find out, the computer will not print to the C82 through a usb hub but will with the printer plugged into the computer. The computer recognizes the printer during configuration just fine and I use cups+gimp-print v4.2.7 driver. The printer will not work with the recommended driver.
Other usb devices work fine via the hub.
My computer is a low end walmart linspire configured desktop I bought 12/2003, 1.3g, 256mb ram with added burner and using drive trays for different distros.

When you say "... printer plugged into the computer ..." I'm guessing that you mean that the printer works when you use the parallel printer cable. I have the same experience with my Epson C84. The USB interface won't work but the parallel printer interface does work. So what? If one way works then don't concern yourself about the other.

No I meant USB connector on the computer. I guess I was not clear. It might work with parallel but I choose not to use parallel anymore.
This printer also works with my new Gigabytes wireless laptop via usb.
