Epson Printer C82

This is not a compatibility issue but thought someone might have experienced the same problem.

One of the features of Epson printers is the print heads are not replaced with the ink cartridge and are prone to getting blocked. This was not much of a problem with my old Epson Stylus 600. So, when it come to buying a new printer I went for another Epson, the C82. It is now just over a year old and the cyan head is 80% blocked and the black is not perfect. I have repeatedly run the head cleaning procedure but it doesn't get any better. Short of dumping it and buying a new printer (open to recommendations) is there anything I can do to clear the heads?

Many thanks.
