Ok, so... welcome to LQ! And now... how about some specs? Like, what mp3 player are we talking about? What distro do you use? Some specs on your box? Also you mention it has connected before... are we talking about you being able to do something with it through some file manager or other app like amarok? Have you changed something in your hardware or updated/installed something new in your box since the last time your mp3 device allegedly worked?
