Cdrecorder does not work after a new kernel

I have Suse 8.2 and after changing the kernel to 2.6.5 my cd recorder does not work even when using the old kernel.
fstab has not changed since I did this :-

/dev/hda2 / reiserfs defaults 1 1
/dev/hda1 /windows/C ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=iso8859-1 0 0
/dev/hda4 /windows/D vfat users,gid=users,umask=0002,iocharset=iso8859-1,code=437 0 0
/dev/hda5 swap swap pri=42 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
usbdevfs /proc/bus/usb usbdevfs noauto 0 0
/dev/cdrecorder /media/cdrecorder auto ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0
/dev/cdrom /media/cdrom auto ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0
/dev/dvd /media/dvd auto ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy auto noauto,user,sync 0 0

As you can see I have a cdrecorder.
But if I try to mount it as root is says :-

mount: special device /dev/cdrecorder does not exist

However with scanbus I can see it :-

213-162-121-23:/dev # cdrecord --scanbus

IDE devices are:
/dev/hda
/dev/hdb
/dev/hdc
/dev/hdd
So put a cd inside your recorder and mount it manually in order to find which hd it is.

The solution was:-
I added /dev/sr0 to fstab and then mounted it and now it works fine !!!
