Question ATI TV Card - Howto make it work?

I have an ATI Video card with TV Input... I'd like to set this up.

lspci
Code:
0000:00:00.0 Host bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8366/A/7 [Apollo KT266/A/333]
0000:00:01.0 PCI bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8366/A/7 [Apollo KT266/A/333 AGP]
0000:00:08.0 Multimedia audio controller: S3 Inc. SonicVibes
0000:00:09.0 Multimedia video controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Video Capture (rev 02)
0000:00:09.1 Multimedia controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Audio Capture (rev 02)
0000:00:0b.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c905B 100BaseTX [Cyclone] (rev 64)
0000:00:0f.0 RAID bus controller: Silicon Image, Inc. (formerly CMD Technology Inc) PCI0680 Ultra ATA-133 Host Controller (rev 02)
0000:00:10.0 RAID bus controller: Silicon Image, Inc. (formerly CMD Technology Inc) PCI0680 Ultra ATA-133 Host Controller (rev 02)
0000:00:11.0 ISA bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233 PCI to ISA Bridge
0000:00:11.1 IDE interface: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT82C586A/B/VT82C686/A/B/VT823x/A/C PIPC Bus Master IDE (rev 06)
0000:00:13.0 RAID bus controller: Triones Technologies, Inc. HPT366/368/370/370A/372/372N (rev 05)
0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc 3D Rage Pro AGP 1X/2X (rev 5c)
If you want a dmesg... be warned, over 30K in size...

The bttv video card is working flawless ly, but I'd like to test with Dual TV Cards but can't find a way to make the ATI work...

Notes:
* I have no GUI installed (don't plan to either)
* Linux Kernel is 2.4.28 - I have issues with 2.6.x (with Raid mostly)
* Can't find a way to install v4l2 as the kernel patch went to like 2.4.26-r1
* Distribution is Gentoo

Can anyone help?

Ok, I've now done a little research...

It appears the maintainer stopped development on the 2.4.x kernel at 2.4.26 so.... looks like it only works with 2.6 now... (A pain because of an 'odd' raid and device setup...)
