I'm a first time Linux user...I'm using Suse 10.0...Suse has detected my sound card, but the sound card isn't working. My computer doesn't make any sound. How do I get my sound card to work.
whats the output of lsmod? if there is no 'snd-ali5451' in lsmod then 'modprobe snd-ali5451' as root
have you ran alsamixer to unmute and turn up the volume controls?
