ALI M5451 PCI AC-Link - Fedora Core

I am having a lot of trouble getting this sound card to work on my laptop. Fedora picked it up, but no audio comes out.

Any help?

i hv the same problem in RH9. snd card detected as same as yours here, but snd-trident cant load .. unresolved symbols encountered all over the place. I think the snd module or the chipset in my laptop or this type of laptop is flawed.. tosh-sat 1800.. dump it!! surprising this chip works in win98!!!
