A LINUX based PSP killer?
A handheld game/multimedia device costing $179.90 called GP2X running LINUX OS is touted to be the Sony PSP killer. With Sony guarding their platform so deligently, this could be the product that would render their effort to irrelevance. For detail see http://ubuntu.alllinuxcd.com

i got one of these dudes for Xmas, it's great but absolutely NOT a threat to PSP in any way whatsoever. It's graphical processing capabilities are very very limited, withh basic 2D and no 3D whatsoever. Also it stupidly has no wireless ibuilt into it, so i'm currently waiting for someone to write an sdio wifi driver for it.
it's a superb idea, and I plan on getting a lot of mileage out of it when they software exists for it. it's currently not a threat to anyone though.

There were some questions on its ability to drive TV output. Have you tried it before? How is the result?

well it supports it, but i'm not planning on using it. I know originally there was no cable designed for it, but it's out now.
