300 GB Seagate Barracuda Ultra ATA/100 as PATA-1 (PRI IDE Slave) on FC3

Will a 300 GB Seagate Barracuda Ultra ATA/100 hard drive work, if it's installed as Drive 3, in PATA-1 (PRI IDE Slave), in the following configuration:

Linux version 2.6.12-1.1378_FC3
Dell PowerEdge SC420
Intel Celeron 2.53 GHz
256 MB RAM
Drive 0: SATA-0 160 GB Hard Drive
Drive 1: SATA-1 Open
Drive 2: PATA-0 CD-ROM Drive (PRI IDE Master)
Drive 3: PATA-1 Open (PRI IDE Slave)

==Thanks
