Seagate Barracuda 40GB SATA supported?

I will receive a Dell PowerEdge SC420.
It will arrive in a week or so.
It comes with a SATA hard disk.

I looked around but I cannot determine if MandrakeLinux supports this SATA drive:
Seagate
Serial ATA
Barracuda 7200.7
ST340014AS
40GB
7200 rpm

Has anyone installed MandrakeLinux on this SATA drive?

Thanks.

It's not a hard drive issue; it's whether the sata controller in your dell is supported. In all probability, it is. Use mdk10.1; that kernel has excellent sata support.
