Xprt-xprintorg configuration

Hi !

Someone knows how to configure a printer for this ?
I used to use cups, but someone says to me that xprt-xprinorg was better... i ve made some searches, but now i even wonder if Xprt is done to manage printers

Here is another problem : i've got an canon i850 usb printer... When i bought this printer, i didn't know canon wasn't supporting linux :/

Is there a solution or i will have to use my printer under windows till i buy another one ?

Thx

yes, there is a solution for that, but it's not free: Turboprint! You can test it before purchasing (approx. US$ 30).

There is something i don't understand... Canon gives windows drivers for free and sells them for Linux... something's going wrong here

It's hard to admit, but i think i ll have to pay for this nonfree software

but now i could print html sites !

Thank you !
