Your system configuration does not match your Evolution configuration

I compiled evolution-1.5.93 on a Linux PC as a non-root user. When I launch evolution, an error window pops-up stating in bold that "Evolution cannot start" with the subj. information as the reason.

I did get a gtk warning in the xterm shell:

(evolution-1.5:18616): Gtk-WARNING **: Could not find the icon 'stock_mail'. The 'hicolor' theme
was not found either, perhaps you need to install it.

I have all gtk, gnome, and evolution librairies in a non standard location i.e. /localdisk/viewstore/lib

The hicolor icons are in:

/localdisk/viewstore/share/icons

Any suggestions on how to debug this problem?

Cheers,

Kim
