.Xdefaults???


so, Im trying to make aterm completely transparent without any borders or anything but I cant for the life of me find the .Xdefaults file. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
P.S. It isnt in my home dir

if it isnt there, you need to create it.. Indeed in your home directory..

If you manage to get it totally boarderless, post back here.. Thats something of interest to me too.. (;

As he said, .Xdefaults is created manually in your $HOME. Check Google for some example ones.
Just to note, the borderless aspect of any program is not handled by the program, it is done completely by the window manager, so don't bother trying to get .Xdefaults to remove the borders.
Depending on your wm there are different ways to do it. Or you could try to get a third party program to do it (forget the name, devilfish or spine something).
