System Information software for Linux


Is there any system information tools that come loaded with most distros of Linux (kind of like AIDA16 for Windows), for command-line use.

Check out the /proc directory
cat /proc/cpuinfo
cat /proc/memimfo
cat /proc/interrupts
cat /proc/iomem
cat /proc/ioports
cat /proc/modules
cat /proc/mounts
cat /proc/partitions
cat /proc/pci
etc.....

Try these:
cat /proc/cpuinfo
uname -a
procinfo
