Question Best Linux PC System Diagnostic Software

What is the best Linux PC Diagnostics software available ? Previously I used aida32 for Windows. This gave all info. including installed applications and hardware info. etc., etc., However, I couldn't find one such equivalent for windows.

Are you running KDE?

Would the KDE Control Center be a good start?

What else are you looking for?

Feel free to post a link to aida's specs etc.
