System commander under Linux

Hi,

I want to know if it is possible to install system commander without windows and use it to manage different flavours of linux.

If yes, what are the steps to configure it?

Thanks

System commander? Like you want to choose which Linux to boot, i.e. mandrake or Redhat etc.? If you mean this, then these programs are called bootloaders, and for Linux, there are lilo and grub. I prefer grub. But both come with basically every distro and every distro uses them...
Configure them? In grub, there is a file /boot/grub/grub.conf, for lilo, its /etc/lilo.conf. If you use lilo, you _have_ to run lilo after changing its configuration, with grub, this isn't needed.
There should be lots of help around on how to configure them. Just search for lilo or grub
Good luck
