I have a message that keeps on retrying to send. I want to cancel it from retrying. I used pine to send the mail and im running sendmail. Please advise.
Find the old message in /var/spool/mqueue
e.g.
ls -l /var/spool/mqueue
total 8
-rw------- 1 root smmsp 1406 Oct 2 11:34 dfk92FYbmD024583
-rw------- 1 root smmsp 975 Oct 3 16:17 qfk92FYbmD024583
Delete both the df (text of the message) and qf (address/headers) entries for the message (the rest of the name is the message ID)
