It should be called "Six Clicks: The Major Desktop Environments" since it's just a list of the most popular and major DE's, and there isn't any type of comparative analysis to judge these as the "best."

Hi,

As I said in the OP, this is a slide show and the commenter choices of the best. Just a means to present video representations by the poster. No real direct comparison.

The author doesn't even get his facts right: he says that KDE was the original desktop, when in fact version 1 of KDE came out in the same year as version 2 of Xfce. Much more useful are

He didn't even include xfce in his 6 choices of "the most important of these PC interfaces."
